How to play

  1. The cards are fixed. Every game uses a standard 52-card deck. Both sides get the same shuffle, so luck is shared.
  2. Pick Jokers. Spend your $24 budget on up to 5 Jokers and put them in order. They fire left to right: +Chips and +Mult first, × Mult after.
  3. Choose a play plan. It decides when your deck discards and which hand it chases. The best-scoring hand it holds is always the one played.
  4. Score like Balatro. A game is 4 plays and 3 discards from an 8-card hand. Each play scores (hand chips + scoring card chips) × mult. Higher total wins the game; a match is best of three.
  5. The ladder plays for you. Every few minutes your deck plays every other team. After each cycle the top five teams earn round points, which organizers turn into CTFd points.
